Self-hosted pricing

Pricing

Code Arch is a self-hosted tool you install on your own infrastructure. Your source code never leaves your environment, so most of what enterprise SaaS pricing covers — multi-tenant infrastructure, data residency, SOC 2 — does not apply to you. Pricing reflects that.

The cloud-hosted version is on the roadmap; sign up for the waitlist below if that's the option you want.

Frequently asked

Pricing questions

Why is the Community tier free?

Because most of the value Code Arch creates accrues to teams using it on real, large legacy codebases — the customers we want to serve commercially. Free Community access lets individual developers evaluate Code Arch end-to-end on their own machine before involving procurement, and gives open-source projects a useful tool at no cost. Commercial use of the Community tier is restricted; teams using Code Arch on company-owned code in a production capacity need the Team or Enterprise tier.

What counts as "commercial use"?

Using Code Arch as part of the work you do for an employer or to deliver services to clients. If you are scanning a personal project, an open-source repository, or evaluating Code Arch ahead of a paid plan, the Community tier covers you.

Why a flat per-team price instead of per-developer?

Self-hosted tools don't have the same scaling economics as multi-tenant SaaS — you do the hosting, we don't have variable infrastructure costs per user. Pricing per developer creates friction (counting users, adjusting licenses as the team grows) without giving us correspondingly more cost to recover. A flat team price is easier to budget and easier to procure.

What if our team is larger than 25 developers?

Talk to us — for teams in the 25-100 range we'll usually quote you in the $3,000-$8,000/year range depending on the specifics. Teams above 100 developers move to the Enterprise tier.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes. If Code Arch doesn't meaningfully help your team within 60 days of purchasing a Team plan, email us and we'll refund the year. We have not yet had to issue one.

Can we try Team before committing?

Yes. We offer a paid pilot: $750 for 90 days of Team-equivalent access including support. If you continue, we credit the pilot fee against your annual subscription.

Do you accept POs and invoicing?

Yes for Team and Enterprise. Net 30 by default; longer terms negotiable for Enterprise.

Do you support [PHP / Python / JavaScript / Ruby / Go / etc.]?

Java is fully supported. C# is in preview. Additional languages are on the roadmap (PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript are next). If you want to vote on what we prioritize, email roadmap@codearch.sh with what you'd scan and why.

What happens if you go out of business?

Your installation continues to work. The default configuration makes zero outbound network calls — there is no licensing server to phone home, no telemetry, no managed service dependency. Source code escrow is available for Enterprise contracts.

Can we self-host this in an air-gapped environment?

Yes. With codearch.llm.provider=none (the default), Code Arch makes zero outbound network connections during operation. We have customers running on air-gapped systems for compliance reasons.

Start free, upgrade when it pays for itself.
